Consumer Business Development Manager
Location : Mumbai
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for selling company products and services as part of the sales team into designated sales territories for the purpose of building new business and maintaining existing customers. Develop strong business relationships with retail customers and other partners such as ISP’s and PC Manufacturers.
PRIMARY TASKS
· Identifying and developing business opportunities in new and existing partners such as PC Manufacturers, Service Providers, ISPs and Retailers
· Engaging senior decision makers and influencers within partners. Proven ability to establish partner relationships across all areas of the partner organization by calling at the “C” level to the implementation level personnel. These roles may include but not be limited to Category Management, Product Development and Management, Sales Management & Head Office Retail Buyers.
· Negotiate Sales Promotions within retailers and partners to drive strong return on investment.
· Delivering high impact presentations, effectively representing Company’s business and value proposition, as a “Partner of Choice” to deliver Security Products and Services to end users.
· Responsible for professionally representing Company and selling its products and services.
· Identify and develop business opportunities in existing retail partners
· Increase sales in a manner consistent with company policy and goals.
· Effectively respond to customer queries and store staff queries.
· Develop and manage a reliable forecast.
· Develop account plans in consultation with each partner.
· Maintain sound knowledge of the industry, trends and the competitive posture of Company and other industry leaders regarding software product offerings and support services.
· Active contribution to the Company team, effectively engaging and leveraging internal and external resources.
·Work independently but refer serious or complicated problems to the Business Development Manager, South Asia.
· Train and educate partners
· Ensure Distributor stock levels are maintained to support orders from Retailers.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
1Tasks are performed under the general direction of the Consumer Director, APAC.
2.Decisions are generally made within the scope of established procedures and guidelines.
POSITION RELATIONSHIPS
The Consumer BDM must relate in an effective way with:
·All retailer and partners;
·Consumer Manager
.Technical Support Team;
·Operations Team
·Retail Marketing Team (US);
·Consumer Product Management Team
· APAC Team.
